Samyak Yoga Seattle introduces its first Northwest style traditional Hatha Yoga Retreat!
Teachers Jess and Siri have recently returned from their studies in India and are thrilled to share fresh and modern perspectives on yoga, grounded in a beautiful traditional lineage of practice and intention.
If taking a weekend away to re-energize yourself and learn more about traditional yoga is something that would interest you, please read on about our retreat!
What: This is an introduction to traditional Hatha yoga,
including asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), meditation, and a brief
intro to yoga theory. We will provide a variety of classes over the weekend
including but not limited to beginner and intermediate Hatha, vinyasa flow, gentle restorative, and creative partner yoga. Classes will include pranayama practice and guided meditation. Participants are welcome to attend as many or as
few classes as they wish. The retreat
will be open to a maximum of 20 attendees. New
Yogis are welcome, but those already practicing will not be bored! We want you to leave feeling relaxed,
energized, and with a deeper understanding of yoga and your own practice.
